I hesitate giving a bad review as I’m a small business owner but after the Maple arrived I was extremely disappointed. I’ve made so many orders from Stoney but I’m not sure I will again. If the 9 pieces I received only 3 were usable. I was mostly upset that I was sent SPALTED maple not hard/soft maple. The title has no mention that it was going to be spalted maple as they have an entire separate listing for spalted maple. After I received the shipment and tried to salvage the pieces they were so unusable I sent the company an email. 20 days later and I’ve still yet to hear from them. Very disappointed

Some needed some real love, but there were plenty that went right into molds and came out perfect!

These slabs arrived in a timely fashion with so much potential and natural beauty. The thickness and fine planing that was done to them was perfect. Can’t wait to order more and start ripping through some projects. I would definitely recommend ordering from Stoney Creek Wood Supply. I will be placing another order before too long.

Hi, some pieces were okay; but were more that were rotted (those parts have to be cut out) and some pieces were shorter than I thought they would be. Probably won’t get bumps and bruises again; but will definitely order your 24” premium boards for both maple and walnut. Also looking for cookies suitable for a 20” charcuterie board.
